Marchisio Plural universal sprockets
These sprockets use adaptors and can be used with different combinations of hubs and gears. You can even mix Shimano and Campag systems (eg Campag Erogpower gears with a Shimano hub). They are particularly suitable for setups with 7, 8 and 9 speed gears.
Plural sprockets are made from hardened steel and feature twisted teeth for reliable shifting, without the shortened teeth and ramps which cause other makes to wear out quickly. And the plain sprockets can be turned over to extend their lives when they are worn.

Shimano gears with a Campag hub : You may need to put some packing spacers on first to take up the extra space on Campag hubs.
Campag gears with a Shimano hub : You may need to lose a sprocket because there's less space on Shimano hubs.
Adding Plural universal sprockets to an existing cassette
I only recommend adding Plural sprockets to an existing cassette if you really know what you're doing. Each Plural sprocket must have Plural spacers on BOTH sides of it (put a thin spacer before the largest sprocket). So, for example, if you buy 2 Plural sprockets to use side-by-side in a Shimano or Campag cassette, you must also buy 2 Plural adaptors and 3 Plural spacers.
Since sprockets from different manufacturers have different thicknesses, spacer thickness also varies. Plural sprockets are nominally 1.50mm thick and the nominal thickness of Plural spacers is as follows:

Converting a cassette to work with a different hub or gears
- Plural cassettes can be converted to work with different gears by simply changing their spacers.
- Plural cassettes can be converted to work with different hubs by simply changing their adaptors.
- Genuine Shimano and Campag cassettes can be converted to work with different gears with a Pulse cassette conversion spacer kit.
