RISC OS software Freeware and Shareware by Chris Bell

I don't believe in re-inventing the wheel - all these items were written or modified to fulfil my own daily needs, either where nothing already existed or where I felt other applications could be improved. Each application can be downloaded as a Zip archive and includes its own documentation and copyright notice. (Use David Pilling's SparkPlug to decompress the archives.)

	EasiHTML (2.10) : For quickly editting batches of HTML files, mending links and adding navigation buttons without needing to understand HTML code. * SHAREWARE - try it for free first *
	FDisplay (1.00) : 'Filer Display' determines how certain directories of your choice will be displayed, regardless of your normal Filer display option settings. Easier to setup than some alternatives.
	KeyUtils : 5 indispensible utilities combined to extend the functionality of RISC OS in several useful ways. For example, it makes the keys do what they say and makes writable icons easier to use.
	Lock (1.00) : Locks everything in specified directories to prevent certain groups of files from being accidentally overwritten. Place it in your !Boot sequence for future peace of mind.
	MDFs : Monitor Definition Files for 2 popular 17" monitors, to extend performance and correct the distorted 1280x1024 PC mode. Technical notes included to help you write your own MDFs.
	ProCAM (1.05) : Converts ProCAD+ drawings into working CNC part-programs ready for down-loading straight into a CNC milling machine. See above for further details.
	RemoteLJ (1.05) : Allows you to configure the default settings on a 600dpi HP LaserJet printer and provides access to 'Economode' at the click of a button, the use of which saves both toner and money.
	RPCInfo2 (1.07) : Extends Rosemary Miskin's 'RPCInfo' application, displaying a variety of useful information on the iconbar.
	ScrapClean (1.04) : Cleans your Scrap directory when you startup your computer. Retains essential user choices and Fresco's cache of webpages if you don't want to lose these.
	Temp-Bin (1.04) : Convenient and safe means to save working files and bin unwanted ones, without having to open any directories. More features than other dustbins.
	TMDisplay (1.10) : Extends Tony Houghton's 'ToggleMode' to switch the screen display with a simple click on the Display Manager. Includes both RISC OS 3 and RISC OS 4 icons.
	WindowMan (1.09) : Enlarged desktop with extra options for the management of windows. It almost certainly does more than you will ever need! Fully configurable.

Some useful command-line utilities to put in your !Boot.Library directory:

• CloseTask : Used to make another task or application quit.
• Delay : Makes the computer wait for a specified time delay.
• Lock : Will lock an unlocked computer if a password has already been set.
• Unlock : Can be used to unlock a locked computer.
• LockStatus : Useful to find out the current lock status of a computer.

• AppsClock by Andrew Booker : Extends the usefulness of the Apps icon on the iconbar.
• ExitOut by Justin Fletcher : Safeguards against accidentally resetting your computer (RISC OS 3).
• FlashCar by Reuben Thomas and Tim Tyler : Flashes the caret, making it easier to see.
• HidePtr by Martin Elbourne : Tidies the screen by removing the mouse pointer while you are typing.
• MyMouse by GUS : Makes the pointer dynamic by accelerating it as you move the mouse faster.
• Smart Confirm by Matt Browne : Requests confirmation when deleting files only (RISC OS 3).
• TreeMenu by Julian Smith : Provides a much quicker way to navigate Filer directories.
